No habla espaniol? Neither do i, and living in this "culturally diverse" city is become more frustrating everyday. When has it become a way of being dismissed as an english speaker because i cant accommodate (fully) to the spanish speaking populous? For some reason, in Miami, it's almost a fact that they expect you to speak spanish. Publicly, riding the bus, working, i'm approached by a spanish speaker that automatically thinks that i'm part of the "click". When i finally let them finish their sentence, i respond.. " sorry, i dont speak spanish." So most of them RUDELY frown upon me, like i'm SUPOSED to understand what they are talking about. I want to be able to get in their heads, I know so many that has agreed to the fact that spanish speakers come to miami for the luxury of not having to learn the english language.
why is this city so cut by fine lines? lol
