So the Catholics did it again! And to think growing up in a Catholic school and raised by a Catholic family would shelter my mind against all wrong allegations against the catholic church. But nope, you can call me an exthiest.
Father Alberto Cutié, media savvy Roman catholic priest, also knows as "Father Oprah", stepped down today after photos were released of him embracing a woman at the beach/bar.
"Father Oprah" was known for his media hosting and relationship advice (i guess "priesting" is something he did part time, because fame obviously got to him)
Thats what caught me dead right there. Relationship advice? How can we even rely on a priest's advice for relationships when they're not allowed to carry (romantic) relationships in the first place? What advice does he have to offer me when it comes to the bumps in the road between me and my signifigant other? The whole "Father Oprah" things seems a bit shady in the first place. But atleast he's added a new scandelous spark in the catholic church.
I guess he was more daring than scandelous accusations of raping adolecent boys.
